Exclusive Interview with Tommy Jacob, GRFS Creative Director As you may have seen from some of our previous blog posts, we’ve been going CrAzY for the new Ghost Recon Future Soldier! We’ve been to multiple launch parties for the game, and your favorite team of femme fatales even competed against the developers of the mutliplayer portion of GRFS! Before our big battle in Toronto, Canada, we snagged a few minutes with Tommy Jacob, the Creative Director for the multiplayer aspect of the game. Check out the video below for Valkyrie’s exclusive interview! The Frag Dolls kicking butt in Ghost Recon Future Soldier The GRFS (multiplayer) Dev Team, showing the world what they’ve got! Tommy and his team of developers are awesome, and we look forward to finally getting our hands on the full version of Ghost Recon Future Soldier. Watch for us on the battlefield; We’re ready for a fight! Love and Peace, Sabre

Kimberly Weigend, also known as Sabre from the all-girl competitive gaming team the Frag Dolls, has been gaming since she was very young. Her parents established Game Parlor, a retail game store, when she was five years old, and every waking moment outside of school was spent playing person-to-person games. It’s no surprise that growing up in a game-loving environment fueled Sabre’s passion for gaming, which now extends to table-top RPGs, card, board, miniatures, and video games. Some of Sabre’s earliest and best memories include playing classic games like D&D, Risk, Magic, Warhammer, as well as competing in local tournaments for StarCraft, Unreal Tournament, and Quake 2.

With all of her gaming knowledge and experience in operating a retail chain, Sabre decided to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at George Mason University. After college, Sabre decided to work on some creative projects and began to collaborate with various independent film crews and photographers around the Washington DC area. In addition to these creative ventures, Sabre works as a business analyst for a consulting company for government and private sector organizations. Although these efforts are fun, creative and professional, Sabre felt the call to return to her gaming roots and joined Pandora’s Mighty Soldiers (PMS), the largest all-female gaming clan in February 2010.

As a Frag Doll, Sabre would like to provide a positive image for female gamers, both casual and competitive. Sabre will strive to reach out and support women who are new to gaming and the gaming industry, and will continue to research the social aspects of gaming and how different interactions can affect how women and men perceive their online gaming experiences.
