Community Gaming Night on HAWX

Saturday night I got to play some Tom Clancy’s HAWX for Community Gaming night with Slick Rick, McMax3000, Vballchick PMS and H20 Maverick, Booty and as always shenanigans took place.  First round, Slickrick took out the whole opposing team with 23 kills; it was quite epic and annoying at the same time because I was the one getting shot down!! The second round resulted in a draw thanks to me and my teammates efforts on not losing.  For round three, Max and I requested a happier map. This did not help because we still got shot down by Slickrick. I think I am going to have nightmares of “you have been killed by Slick”.  It’s pretty horrifying after it happens over and over and over again. Finally Green team (my team) came up with a 1337 strategy. LETS ALL GANG UP ON RICK! And let me tell you it worked pretty darn well. We tied twice and then the blue team got a double EMP strike. We don’t talk about the double EMP Strike… it screwed us over. Basically, Slickrick owned us all. I need to practice more. He is my boss battle and until I beat him, I can’t say I have mastered Tom Clancy’s HAWX. Side note: Max tip: don’t play and type on IRC at the same time, it will get you killed! Renelly Morel, also known as “Psyche” as a member of the all-girl video game team the Frag Dolls, has been gaming since the tender age of five. She may be one of the youngest Frag Dolls, but she is definitely one of the most deadly in competition.  Her competitive nature is a perfect complement to her team work during the heat of battle, where she excels in first-person shooters. Usually one of the most vocal members of Frag Dolls during completions, she aids her team in knowing where the enemies are positioned, how many enemies she took down, and what she is doing. Communication is key to this Frag Doll.

Psyche also plays a variation of games that include interactive games like Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, The legend of Zelda, and several Nintendo Ds games like phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. Psyche is known as a well rounded gamer who is always in the know about new games and the gaming industry.

Psyche began her pro-career through membership with the PMS Clan in the PS2 division of SOCOM and made the leap to Xbox with Ghost Recon 2 due to her passion for gaming and wanting a more cooperative game play experience. In December 2006, Psyche was part of the four member Frag Doll team that took first place in the Rainbow Six Vegas tournament at CPL in Dallas.

When she’s not taking down the competition, she’s currently a student majoring in psychology with a minor in communications at New York City College. She is also co-host’s a radio show on Sirius radio called Level Up. She enjoys hanging out with her friends, playing video games (of course), fencing, Boxing, and learning about psychology.
