Okay Geek Girls, it’s time to get down to the BIOS… err the business of things!  We’ve watched the growth of a trend: being geek is cool, and you know it’s a trend when even Barbie is doing it! As hip as being a nerd is right now, you must cultivate some basic knowledge before you can truly call yourself a geek girl.

That being said, we Frag Dolls are beginning a new educational blog series starting with a top 10 list of Things Every Geek Girl Should Know.  After all, being a geek isn’t just about playing games, knowing some form of code, technical acronyms, or the lines to your favorite Sci-Fi movie - it’s all that and a bag of hardware! 

We will continue to expand this list, over time, to become a knowledge base for your inner AND outer geek self.  Learning and expanding your knowledge and skills will not only make your life better, but will assist you in your climb to becoming an all-knowing Geek Goddess.

How to Build a PC: A basic rule for any geek girl is that she needs to learn how to build her own personal computer. A geek girl’s PC is like her purse; a major accessory that she should fashion and customize with care and geek flair! Your Geek History & Culture: Immerse yourself in geek culture and history of the past geekery. If the phrase “Han shot first” doesn’t mean much to you, start doing your homework and quit watching “re-mastered” versions of the classics.
