Seagate Mall Tour - Dallas
Dec 01, 6:20 pm

Pyra and I are currently in Dallas at the Seagate Mall Tour, pwning some noobs and shopping on breaks like women are prone to do. This is the first event where we really get a lot of time off, as we only work a few hours simply playing against noobs on some games.  It doesn’t even feel like work! Anyone in the Dallas area needs to stop by the Town East Mall and come hang out by the Macy’s entrance.

One of the highlights for me so far, was when these two kids came up to me and said they could own both Pyra and me in Halo 3. Of course we heckled them back. Then, they start throwing names around, “I played with Final Boss in their online team,” says one. “Oh, really.” I replied in my sickingly sweet voice, “What’s your gamertag?” “Starbuck,” he countered appearing very confident, but only for a moment as I quickly intervened, “I’ll be sure to ask Dan or Tom about you when I see them at the next MLG.” At this point he at least appeared to choke on his tongue, but maybe he was telling the truth. It certainly didn’t look like it and Pyra and I got a nice chuckle discussing the looks on their faces for the next few hours. I really hope he was lying as I suspect, so I can keep this memory pure in my mind for the next few years. Anyone that can confirm or deny the existence of this guy as a Final Boss member, by all means wipe this smirk off my face. I simply hate it when people that you don’t know talk crap to you.

On to shopping! Yesterday, I bought a hot new leather jacket and a Bernini purse, making sure to justify it to myself by the amazing percentage I got off (70%!) and considering it an early Christmas present to myself. Don’t you just love Christmas!! I also got some swank new knee high boots, that although will be more casual, are a super cute light brown suede with fur on the top. I figure all the girls are still wearing these things all over and I better get on board sometime. Lets just hope they don’t sit in my closet like most of the shoes I break down and buy because they are so cute yet end up uncomfortable as hell. These seem like they will be OK as the heal is solid, but I really don’t know how women can stand to walk around in heels all day. I’m usually crying in a half hour.

Tonight, a bunch of our Dallas gamer friends are all meeting up and we are going out to eat Tai. Then it’s off to a bar or club to get our dancing grove on. It should be a fun memorable mess, as always, when we break out our dancing shoes. Hopefully I will get enough sleep before my plane leaves tomorrow. I really don’t want to be tired as I have to immediately race home to fight Gruul in our WoW guild. I figure I will be doing a lot of yelling, and that won’t be good for a sick, tired head. Anyway, you Dallas people stop on by and come try to win a Seagate hardrive and some copies of GRAW 2!
