This last month has been extremely hectic as I have been traveling non-stop for various events AND moved the two days I was actually home, but now I will finally hit pay day and get to attend an event as a CONSUMER! That’s right, this morning I head to BlizzCon for a couple days of fun and play with my friends and guildmates. 

I have attended the past three BlizzCon’s including Paris last year, but all of these I had to work at and never before have I actually got to walk around, see the shows, and play the games.

For all of you that don’t know BlizzCon is a gaming expo hosted by Blizzard for fans and addicts of the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises.  They will have Q&A panels featuring Blizzard Entertainment developers, social events for players and developers to meet one another, contests, tournaments, and hands-on gameplay featuring your favorite Blizzard Entertainment games- mine of course being World of Warcraft. They will also have Ozzy Osborne in concert this year and that should be a site to see!

Of course, the best part about BlizzCon is the goody bag we get that is jam packed with swag galore.  The most important swag is the exclusive in-game pet, but those that don’t get to attend can still get it via watching the online event as well (I actually hate that the do this!) We will also be getting the n00bz figure Raynore in our bags, but I plan on getting the “Fury of Ragnaros” n00bz autographed by JB since he is so cool now and has the best designed one! Nothing brings me back to the good old day’s like Rag!
