Last year, in celebration of the Magic the Gathering (MtG): Duels of the Planeswalkers release for Playstation 3 (PS3), we helped Wizards of the Coast announce the launch of their custom themed Home Space- and it’s finally coming to you on February 10th!

For those of you buried under a rock (or their Xbox/PC), the PS3 Home is the virtual 3D social gaming network where users can create a custom avatar and decorate their avatar’s personal area with custom items that are preset, purchased, or won. Inside these “homes” are also Public spaces made for display, entertainment, advertising, and meeting people. It’s basically a portal into another online world and that is what this theme is for!

The MtG Home Space will offer all kinds of MtG themed goodies that include a cool looking castle to hang out in with fellow MtG geeks, mini-games that will allow you to win avatar items, a clever leader-board to monitor the game rankings, and all other things “magic”!

Those that get the new home space on the February 10th launch day will also be able to mingle with the Wizards of the Coast staff and other special guest in their little castle beyond the net.
