Umm… yea… so I succumbed to the dark side once again in the form of crack-on-a-stick Final Fantasy XI.  I don’t know why I allowed myself to be lured on this game again, but I broke down and now I am playing it all day and all night.  Some people might realize I play games all day even when I am not in MMO candy land, but for some reason these games are just worse for me. See, even though I play all day on other games usually I am not as addicted that I can’t walk away and do what needs to be done around my house or errands and such.  I just feel like I don’t want to do anything but PLAY, and writing this blog is even causing minor panic attacks as I just want to go play my game since I just woke up.

Can anyone say NOOB? My god when I first logged on I didn’t know what the heck I was doing. I could barely remember how to move let alone all the complicated macros I had to make up so I could even join a party.  Seriously, you can’t leave a game as complicated as this one and think you can just “jump” back in. I finally got the hang of it again after a few days and am going to play non stop until I hit 75 so I can walk away, lol.

I leveled three levels in three days and am now a level 69 RDM!! One more level for 70 WOOT!!!  I am working on Zilart missions right now and am getting ready to fight Maat who is going to kick my butt. You see, you have to beat him to get up to the Sky which is a new area with the Zilart expansions. However, apparently Redmages are the worst against Maat and since I have to do it on my own everyone is telling me that I will have fight many times before and if I will beat him. In fact, I had a friend on there that quit playing the game after he lost to Maat like 15 times. Everyone say a prayer for me please.

So I am with the same old gang of hookers that lured me back in the first place: Azn PMS (Navaru), Raven PMS (Lilliana) and Cella PMS (Sehanine). Except this time the girls are now level 75 and running around doing some mad damage. We are proud to have a new addition to our family in crack land, enter Boomst1ck PMS (Boomi).  She is already a lvl 20 and is going to be getting her chocobo today with some help from us to get there. She is picking up the game faster than most, but that’s probably because we are there to help her and have teamspeak so any question that pops up she can ask.
