Candy for a Baby!
Oct 28, 2:55 am

So in the next month or so we are going to be getting a plethora of new games coming. Games that so tickle my fancy my head is going to spin at which one I am going to play the most. It is a long standing tradition of mine to be quickly beat the cool new games I want and then choose what one I will focus my multiplayer skills on, but for once I am going to have an issue choosing. Below are some of my top picks that, and hope to see you all gaming with me on!

Splinter Cell: Double Agent has already released and I am having a lot of fun. I have only done a few levels of the campaign, which is absolutely stunning and beautiful in the typical splinter cell way. It isn’t that easy either. I had started off on hard but was having so much trouble staying alive that I decided to go back and restart on medium difficulty, as they took away lots of my bullets and other toys that I needed to be kept from being killed. I am not the best sneakiest person in the world, so I most assuredly need my bullets!

In SC:DA the NSA has engaged in the passive collection of moving data, intercepting communications en route, for the last five decades. But as communications become digital and sophisticated encryption becomes ubiquitous, passive collection is no longer sufficient. The NSA launches a top-secret initiative, Third Echelon, a return to classical methods of espionage powered by the latest technology for the aggressive collection of stored data. No longer filtering the world through satellites and antennas, Third Echelon agents physically infiltrate dangerous and sensitive enemy locations to collect the required intelligence by whatever means necessary.

You will play as Sam Fisher who is Third Echelon’s primary Splinter Cell operative. Fisher has been on the front lines of espionage through several key decades of world history. He has not only survived but excelled in the field of espionage through hard work, insatiable curiosity, and brutal honesty. He has little time for polite niceties and even less for lies. The campaign is hot, the multiplayer is hotter as you play 3v3 Spies vs. Mercs! Get it now!

World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade is the expansion pack for WoW coming shortly. Several years have passed since the Burning Legion’s defeat at Mount Hyjal and the races of Azeroth have continued to rebuild their once shattered lives. With renewed strength, the heroes of the Horde and Alliance have begun to explore new lands and broken through the Dark Portal to investigate the realms beyond the known world. Will these heroes find friends or foes? What dangers and rewards lie in wait beyond the Dark Portal? And what will they do when they discover that the demons they thought vanquished have returned to renew their terrible Burning Crusade?

• An increase in the level cap to 70
• New spells and talents for each class
• Two new playable races: Blood Elves & Draenei
• The entire new continent of Outland
• Many new zones and high-level dungeons
• Hundreds of new monsters, quests, and items
• A new profession: Jewelcrafting
• Flying mounts in Outland

This is going to be hot for all the gamers out there, as our epic purple equipment becomes less than blue and green we find along the way. High instance Guild raiding will probably become non-existent in the frenzied scramble to reach 70 and unlock the mystery and skill of the new races. HOT, HOT, HOT!

Gears of War is another awesome title that I am very excited for.  I got to see Cliffy B demo this game at E3 and while I was invited to play the multiplayer, I had to run back to work *cry*. My sister got to play this and I can tell you that I and a gaggle of my oldest girlfriends on Xbox live will be living this game up on multiplayer.  I have the limited edition on pre-order!

Gears of War thrusts you into a deep and harrowing story of humankind’s epic battle for survival against the Locust Horde, a nightmarish race of creatures that surface from the bowels of the planet. In this third-person tactical action/horror game, live and breathe the role of Marcus Fenix. A disgraced former war hero, Marcus seeks personal redemption as he leads his fire team against an onslaught of merciless warrior fiends. Immerse yourself in an experience so intensely emotional and gut-wrenching that playing will be like controlling a blockbuster action movie.

Rainbow Six: Vegas is another game that is coming out that is going to comprise a lot of my time, mostly because this is the game closest to my heart! The series I have played more of then any other game, long before I was a Frag Doll.
In this game you will play as a member of Team Rainbow, a multinational task force comprised of counterterrorism experts from around the globe. Equipped with state-of-the-art weapons, Team Rainbow is deployed during terrorist crises. When all other attempts have failed, Rainbow is brought in to save the lives of innocent people. They do not negotiate with terror. They destroy it.

Rainbow began as an idea shared by John Clark and Domingo “Ding” Chavez. Clark, a former Navy SEAL and CIA operative, met Ding during a covert operation in Colombia. During the operation, Chavez was rescued by Clark. After that mission, Ding joined the Central Intelligence Agency. Clark and Ding developed a mentor-student relationship over the course of several missions together and Rainbow was created in 2000. Ding Chavez was made a Team Leader, and they began recruiting counter-terrorism operatives immediately. Experts in close-quarters combat, demolitions, electronics, surveillances, and reconnaissance were recruited. Snipers, hackers, soldiers, policemen, and contractors were all brought to Hereford, England. There, Rainbow shares its headquarters with the British Special Air Service.

Anyway, there are my picks of games to get when they come out (if they keep their release dates)! About time we get some good games, is all I have to say as this latest dry spell almost killed me as I spent more time on my Nintendo DS and my PC rather then my beloved Xbox. I cant wait to get back into the action and the fray as I kick some bootie on these games--see ya on the flip side, noobs =P
