So with the new season, I decided to get back on my little crack in a box, Animal Crossing: Wild World for the DS.  I have been going nuts, as with June comes the amazing array of insects and fish all just waiting for me to catch!!  I set my sights high and only need a few more of these lovely beauties to complete my collections, for the summer season as well as all!

In the fish category, I only have one left for the season which is the ever elusive Arowana. It’s a river fish who somehow NEVER seem to bite my fishing pole.  I will spend hours walking the river bed and casting between the hours of 4pm-9am, yet somehow my worms just aren’t bringing him in.

Good News is I CAUGHT MY SHARK!!! Yea, the infamous ruler of the ocean is now sitting pretty in my museum eyeballing me when ever I go to view his silvery glory.  I was so shocked when I caught him, as I figured it would be the ever common Hammerhead, but nope! That boy was mine. To complete my fish collection (other than the two above) I only need the Blue Martin, Arapalma, Jellyfish, King Salmon, Sweet fish, and Pufferfish- half of which will belong to me next month when they start showing up. Then I will rule the water with my Golden Fishing Pole, yay!

In Bug news I am not as successful as a terrorizing THING keeps tormenting me and attacking me instead of letting me swoop him up in my net. That tarantula is evil, I tell you! He is EVIL, EVIL, EVIL!  I rarely see him and when I do it is usually in a flurry of sound as he charges my face and bites me all over. I am whisked away to the front of my house when this occurs so I never have an opportunity to chase him down.  Good luck getting this one guys, I’ll keep trying but he is really quite a jerk.

I did catch all my butterflies for the season, yet still see none of the insects that troll the grass- the grasshopper, long locust, walking stick etc. Although the online guide say these should be available in June, I am beginning to think that they have to be July.  I don’t know if they blend in or are just rare, but they manage to fool me if they are out there.  This season’s insects I’m still hunting the Atlas Beetle, Elephant Beetle, Long Locust, and that stupid Tarantula.

In other news I only need ONE FOSSIL!!! If anyone gets the Ptera skull and already has it, help a girl out and bring it over to my town. This has been my last one since I quit the game and I still haven’t got it since I came back!  I also found out you can order ORIGINAL paintings from your catalog so let’s order all our paintings and switch them out with each other to complete this collection. I have 5 paintings right now, all I have to do is drop them on the ground and you can order them if you pick them up.

I also managed to save 1,000,000 bells so I received my tissue box in the mail… why a tissue box I don’t know, but I do know its killer feng shui so it is now sitting on the table in the corner of my house in the yellow feng shui corner.  OH YEA BRING ME THAT LUCK TO CATCH THAT SILLY TARANTULA!
