Animal Crossing… as Addictive as Animal Crackers!
Dec 15, 1:49 am

Ok, so my latest and greatest addiction is Animal Crossing- another drug on a stick.  So, this is going to be short and simple since I MUST GO PLAY.

Animal Crossing is a simple Nintendo DS game that I got as an early Christmas present along with my new Teal DS and Nintendog game.  I had been hankering for Nintendog since babysitting Katscratch’s pups at one of the MLG tournaments, and finally got one. Now, I had heard about Animal Crossing before from about a million people, so I thought I would check it out and get it as well- little did I know my little puppy would be the one missing out on my attention when I got it.

I don’t know what makes animal crossing so addictive, I really don’t. It is such a mindless, simple game and you would think it would be kind of boring. I mean, catching fish and bugs, planting plants, accumulating stuff to put in your house and sell? Common! But, frankly it is.  First thing I want to do in the morning is see what artifacts are buried, what fish I can catch, and whose world will I go visit today (and do they have any fruit I need!).  As well, I don’t want to shut it down because I am afraid I will miss out on a floating ballon with a prize, or miss a character visiting. It is really quite sad as you can see.

My orchard came with oranges and I have just planted apples, pears, and peaches.  I need some coconut and word on the street is that Eekers has a growing coconut tree. Now… if I am sure she will plant her coconuts to get more trees, so that will be a wait for me indeed.  Jinx also has the last store upgrade coming tomorrow, and I can’t WAIT!! Can anbody say BEAUTY SALON!!!!

Catch ya on the flip side…
