The Sun Will Rise Again
Mar 23, 8:00 am

Are you interested in helping the people in Japan but just don’t know how? There are a lot of different ways to help…like buying a t-shirt.

My family is doing their small part to help. My sister and her husband have a clothing company, The Endurance Conspiracy and they have teamed up with Econscious and Goodbye Blue Monday to release their first Chari-TEE to help raise money for disaster relief efforts in Japan.

Even a small thing like buying a t-shirt can have a big impact when ALL THE PROCEEDS will be donated to FoE (Friends of Earth) Japan (an international organization that deals with environmental problems at a global level) and the Japanese Red Cross.
These organizations are currently in Japan working to bring aid through their ongoing humanitarian efforts and environmental clean up.

EC-FOR-JAPAN_r8_c1

PRICE: $30.00

The t-shirt was designed by EC artist, Tony DeBoom. The EC logo sits inside the Japanese red sun with the name, Endurance Conspiracy translated by EC friend and Ishigaki resident, Kazumi Kedashiro, on the front; and, “The sun will rise again” graphic on the back.

Every shirt was printed by Goodbye Blue Monday in Boulder, CO on an Econscious 100% organic cotton t-shirt. All these companies have donated their time and efforts in the hopes of raising money for the relief efforts.

You may not feel the effects from the horrific events the people of Japan have suffered. You may not feel them yet…but you will. This is something that will affect us all in ways we cannot yet imagine. I love Japan. I have been there a few times. Our family has friends there and I cannot even begin to understand what they are going through. I want to do more than buy a t-shirt, but it’s a good place to start. Maybe my small contribution will combine with other’s small contributions to make one big contribution that WILL make a difference.
