The Pretty Prince of Parties

A few of us Frag Dolls had the privilege of attending the launch party for the new game Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. The event was held at the very fashionable SKYBAR, at the Mondrian Hotel in Hollywood California. This amazing party, presented by Ubisoft, Xbox, and Break.com was hosted by True Blood star Ryan Kwanten.
Each one of us was set up at a different gaming station, offering partygoers a chance to play the new Prince of Persia. The game is called The Forgotten Sands but there was nothing forgettable about this party. The Persian theme wasn’t just in the game, but every inch of this party was designed to transport guests to a decadent Persian oasis under the evening sky.
Celebrities and VIP’s were treated to a Hookah Bar, exotic cocktails and appetizers, while surrounded by flaming sword fighters, mermaids swimming in the pool, fire dancers, and music spun by DJ Mr. Best.
I love going to these types of events. Getting to see all the stars in person and showing people how to play the games, I always have a great time. In fact, I was having such a good time playing through the game, solving the puzzles and kicking sand army butt, that I was having a hard time sharing. Those of you who have played it know what I mean, and for those of you who haven’t played it yet, you should!!! This is really a fantastic game.
We all had a blast! Brookelyn got to play with stars from True Blood. I got to play with Verne Troyer for an hour or so. I was impressed with his gaming skills and love for video games. Playing and chatting with him was the highlight of my night. It is always refreshing to find real gamers in the crowd.
Some of the other Celebrities in attendance were Macy Gray, Playboy playmates Kristina & Karissa Shannon, Former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta, G4’s Olivia Munn, actress Sara Paxton, celeb photographer Tyler Shields, and Smallville’s Sam Jones III among others.
