The release of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction is fast approaching but for those of you who are hungry to get your hands on something SCC now, here is a fun facebook app that can help you get that Echelon fix.

It’s a game similar to “Where’s Waldo” in that you are given a surveillance photo and are asked to tag images of Sam, his allies, equipment and characters from Splinter Cell Conviction. New images are posted all the time so if you strike out on one photo maybe you will find more stuff in the next one.

It’s kind of awesome. I am a treasure hunter at heart and am extremely meticulous when it comes to stuff like this. I look over every inch, one section at a time, relentlessly pursuing each hidden item.

My favorite photo so far is that of Las Vegas. In under a half hour I managed to find everything except for 3 items. It’s not that it’s easy; I’m just that good.
