Scrooge says Merry Christmas
Dec 23, 11:00 am

Merry Christmas everyone! I feel like it snuck up on us a little faster this year. I never know where I am going to be one year to the next. Last year, I was on Vashon Island (up in Washington State), celebrating Christmas with the whole family. This year, I am in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We have relocated temporarily. I am here with Rico Fuerte as he works on location. (He is working on the last two Twilight movies)
Being on location is a great excuse not to have to do anything for the holidays. We are not shopping for presents. We are not getting a tree or decorating anything. We don’t have any relative’s houses to go to or any family obligations. Our big plans….gaming. We have one and a half weeks to do nothing but play video games.
It’s going to be the best Christmas ever!
When I travel I like to bring all the comforts of home with me, i.e. my Wii, Xbox and all my favorite games.
I have more games with me than I can possible play, but, you never know what kind of mood will strike and I want to be prepared. Plus, I have a lot of games to catch up on.
Our plan over the holiday is to acquire another Xbox and TV so Rico Fuerte and I can game at the same time. We have had to share a TV and xbox while we have been here. He takes an hour, then I take an hour. It’s...so...hard...to...share. I feel like I’m 12 and have to play nice and share the NES with my little brother. No thanks. In the famous words of Austin Danger Powers, “It’s not my bag baby”.
I know you’re thinking..."she’s not doing anything for Christmas AND she doesn’t want to SHARE?!?” What a Scrooge. Maybe, but that’s the beauty of being an adult; you can do what you want. Merry Christmas everyone! Lot’s of love and hugs and I’ll be seeing you online.
