Event #1:
Your Shape featuring Jenny McCarthy Launch Party, The Oxygen TV and Ubisoft ‘Your Shape’ event was held at Hyde Lounge in Hollywood, California.
Brookelyn and I worked this event and we each got our own little roped off VIP area to play in. We “played” the game all night. I have not worked out like that since high school. It was intense. There we were at a hip Hollywood party doing aerobics and sweating our butts off. It was odd but I had a ton of fun. Lots of people wanted to try the game so I would get an occasional break while I watched party goers kick off their heels and get their work out on. All though I did impress myself and come to find out I am in much better shape then I realized.
The Location:
Hyde Lounge is a super hip club on the Sunset Strip.
The paparazzi are always staked out at Hyde. It has become the it-club for LA’s hip and ridiculous starlets. There is heavy door-security, for the average joe-shmo you probably cant get in, but if the doorman says you could come in if he were not at capacity, he probably isn’t lying since the club is tiny.

Event #2:
Your Shape featuring Jenny McCarthy and Just Dance promotion on a local morning news show in Portland Oregon.
The morning show on the local news happens early! Like no one in their right mind should be awake that EARLY! I had to wake up at 3:00am to make it to the new station by 4:30am. We were there to promote Just Dance on the Wii and the PC version of Your Shape. We had two Trailblazer Blazer Dancers (Mary Ellen and Cristi) there to help demo the games. News anchorwoman Kacey Montoya interviewed me about the games and we did a give away. After we were done we went back into the new office and the phones were ringing off the hook with callers trying to win the games. It was cool to know that there were people watching and that all this early morning effort was not in vain.
The Location:
KOIN Local 6 news station in downtown Portalnd Oregon.
I had never been to a news station before. It was not what I expected. The newscasters are on stage in front of these big robotic cameras that move and work all by themselves, with no operators, no stage managers, PA’s or anything. All those people are in a far off room never to be seen. The actual studio where the filming happens is very big and quiet and empty of people except for those in front of the camera. It was a well-oiled machine pumping out news at 5 in the morning. I was impressed.
