Candy, sweets and treats are a big motivating factor for me. I love candy, I love cupcakes and sweet treats of all kinds. I don’t get to eat them very often. I can be talked into almost anything if candy is involved.
Today, I went to “Boo at the Zoo” here in Denver. It’s a great way to score free candy. It’s basically “Trick-or-Treating” at the Zoo. All the kids are dressed up in costumes and they go around to all the booths stationed around the Zoo and fill up their bags with candy and participate in the different activities they have going on. It’s really crowded but it’s a lot of fun.

I’m not going out tonight. I’m staying in to give out candy to “Trick-or-Treaters” and watch some scary movies.
Watching scary movies is a must this time of year. It has just started to get really cold here. I am looking forward to turning on the fire and eating popcorn too. It’s funny how I can watch scary movies by myself but it’s hard for me to play scary video games alone. I need someone else there with me or I get too freaked out.

This year I had my nieces over and we carved pumpkins. It was a lot of fun. I bought candy eyeballs to use but we ended up eating most of them. The girls did use a few of the eyeballs with forks sticking out of them. It was the perfect finishing touch to their jack-o’-lantern. I had 3 pumpkins to carve. I carved a cool owl, a jedi symbol and a pair of silverballers into my pumpkins. Then I spray-painted them black. They turned out great but we had a sudden frost that did some unrecoverable damage to their structural integrity. R.I.P. my little pumpkin buddies.
So, as you can see, I am participating a little. Eating too much candy, carving pumpkins, ‘Trick-or-Treating” and watching scary movies is a nice way to spend my Halloween. How will you be spending yours? Have any parties to go to? What is your costume going to be this year?
We want to see your costume!!!
In fact, you should enter our costume contest!

We announced via our Facebook that we were going to be holding a costume contest. Well get your cameras ready because it’s time for you to submit a photo of yourself in your Halloween costume.

Happy Halloween everyone! I have actually decided to participate a little this year. I usually don’t do much, as some of you may already know, but apparently I am easily persuaded.
