Congrats. You’re the 1st pregnant Frag Doll!
May 15, 8:13 am

For those of you who have seen me recently at events, this isn’t going to come as much of a shock, as I’m past the point of being able to conceal my growing tummy. Or perhaps you just thought I’d been hitting the hot pockets a little too hard. Well, I don’t eat hot pockets. I am, in fact, pregnant.

Since there has not been a pregnant Frag Doll before, I am a living, breathing and ever expanding beta test. You can’t keep this kind of thing secret for long unless you go into hiding and I’m not about to do that. I am owning this pregnancy. I love what is happening in my life right now and I want to share it with the world (in the most non-annoying way possible).

So I’ll start by stickin’ to the facts. Fun Facts that may sound a little ridiculous but that’s ok, some of you may find this interesting.

Fact #1:
We used an iphone app OvuLite to aid in the baby’s conception. The Ovulation Calendar helps you determine your fertile days of the month, so you can either avoid or achieve pregnancy. And it FREAKIN’ WORKED!

Fact #2:
I was so sick for the first couple months I could not play video games. The movement on the screen would make me even more nauseous. When I played CGN or FDF during those first months I used lolly-pops and cough drops to combat the nausea.

Fact #3:
I grew out of all my clothes by the 2nd month. I am wearing all the hand-me-downs from my sister’s pregnancies. Thank goodness she has great taste. So, I’m decked out in high-end maternity clothes that make me feel cute and not like Chris Farley in a little coat.

Fact #4:
When you’re pregnant, you can’t eat like you used to. All the good stuff is off limits and the stuff you usually enjoy tastes different or makes you sick. For example, normally I don’t like Italian food; never have. But for some reason it tastes better than it ever has before and I am loving it.

Unfortunately I can’t eat some of my favorite things.  I can’t eat oranges or drink orange juice because it makes me sick. I can’t even eat pickles!!! I love pickles but they taste nasty now and make me sick. How messed up is that?!

Fact #5:
I didn’t get to the doctor until after my 9th week. Up until that time I used the iphone app, Pregnancy Countdown to track the pregnancy. Quoting the app’s info when we told our parents the good news. I am still using it and so far it’s been right on and in line with the info we get from our doctor.

Current Baby Stats (according to my iphone):
Weight 13.9oz 396g
Length: 6.34’ 16.1cm
Heart Rate: 146 bpm
Info: The baby now has regular sleep cycles and can hear noises very well. Some noises may even wake or startle the baby.

Fact #6:
I can still play Just Dance. It’s a great way for me to get some exercise. In my powersurge video when I schooled those ladies at Just Dance, I was 15 weeks pregnant.

Fact #7:
It’s a boy! My favorite name on our list is Danger Grey but some of our relatives are freaking out over it. It’s the first name Rigney and I came up with that we both loved from day 1. The name is a tribute to my brother but we are still considering other names.

Fact #8:
I have at least 15 different books on pregnancy that I’ve been given, but I haven’t read any of them. Well, I’ve read a little bit of “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”. It seems other peoples pregnancy’s get really gnarly. I’m glad mine is easy and I don’t have half the symptoms most women suffer from – Praise God!

Fact #9:
Weird belly button Fact. When I laugh…..my innie becomes an outie.

Fact #10:
I have just past my half-way point. I am about to start my 6th month of this crazy ride. The baby is 22 weeks old. I still have about 123 days to go, give or take a few.

The baby is due to arrive on Sept. 3rd. I think he will come sooner but only because I’m an August baby myself and I really want to go to PAX.

I know that our ever-increasing community has a number of moms and dads with growing families and I am truly excited to join your ranks. Being a pregnant Frag Doll is not w/out it’s challenges, but I am looking forward to becoming a mom and I feel blessed with the opportunity to represent women in this way.

There you have it. I’m pregnant. Discuss.
