Now I know how Brookelyn felt when she commented about not having access to XBL. I went away to Tahoe this past weekend for some awesome boarding and when I came back, I discovered “network errors” when trying to connect to Halo 2! The worst part isn’t that I don’t have internet. It’s that I do have it, but can’t get on Live for some reason! Having worked in tech support before (for PC games too), I have become very anti-tech support and am also extremely stubborn when it comes to asking for help on anything computer/gaming related. Plus throw in the busy holiday season, work, and trying to hang out with family and I barely have any time to sit down and try to fix the darn thing. I finally caved in and wrote Xbox support an email and hopefully, I’ll be on within the next few days.
Since there seemed to be no hope of getting online, I finally opened my new copy of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. The first one was a blast (although I wasn’t too fond of that princess) and I loved all the puzzle solving and awesome graphics. I was actually pretty surprised that the sequel was rated M (compared to T for the first one) until I saw bodies getting cut in half and heads flying off - in a cool way though.
Plus the first appearance of the female villain kind of threw me off. Haha. You actually don’t see her face for a while, but I’ll just leave it at that. Anyhow, I’m really impressed by the graphics so far and I can’t wait to play it again – at least until my XBL gets fixed.
