This mini-blog is being brought to you by Air Canada. Yup, Jinx and I are aboard flight 758 on our way to Toronto, Ontario. I still can’t believe that I’m flying almost 5 hours out, staying one night, and flying back after a 24 hour stay, just to attend Mountain Dew’s Dew Fuel party, but regardless I’m totally looking forward to it. Hopefully, my old tired body can handle it since technically, we’re scheduled to be at the party from 1AM – 3AM. I’ve never had an official Frag Doll event this late at night, but I’m guessing the endless Mountain Dew energy drinks will keep me going. Besides the big partay, we’ve also scheduled some time to have dinner with some of the forumers, so that should be good times. And hopefully since we’re staying in downtown Toronto, I’ll be able to squeeze in some shopping during my free hours and maybe even see Niagra Falls? Who knows.
Of course Jinx and I are ready and equipped with our DS and DS lite on the flight. She’s got her stash of games, but all I brought was Brain Age because lately that’s all I’ve been playing! I don’t know if it’s just me, but doesn’t it seem like Sudoku is the latest craze? I’m seeing Sudoku books at Target, Sudoku in my airplane mag, and even on MTV! I know it’s been around forever, but it just feels like it recently blew up, which is fine with me because I’m totally hooked on it! Recently I’ve also been doing some good deeds by introducing a couple more people to the DS. You could even say I’ve shed some “lite” into their lives (sorry for the cheese). I chipped in to buy a friend a DS lite for a b-day gift and I also got my Sudoku addicted girl friend to try out Brain Age just for the Sudoku puzzles. She loves the interface so much that she’s already looking into buying a DS just for that. I would have recommended Sdoku Gridmaster, but then I realized that the interface just isn’t as good as Brain Age – you have to tap the numbers to go in the box versus writing them in. Anyhow, converting people to the DS just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
So that’s it for now. The batteries are running low in both my body and my laptop. Jinx has already passed out on the plane (we both got to the airport around 5AM) so I think I’m gonna join her.
