Let’s put Halo 3 aside for a second and focus on something else just as fun and entertaining - Justin Timberlake. Now, I’m no crazy fan, I don’t own any of his albums, and the only words I know to his songs are “I’m bringing sexy back… YEAH!” or something. BUT when our fabulous promotions manager Melanie told me that Justin was in town and that DELL was hooking us up with some special VIP tickets, I didn’t even think twice when she asked if I wanted to go.
Mel and me:
So there we were on a Sunday night - 4 ladies well into their 20s, and 2 guys there because they were promised beer and food. We headed to the stadium full of screaming teen girls with customized “Marry Me Justin!!” t-shirts. I assumed we had box seats since I figured those were the sweet Dell seats we were told about (Dell sponsored Justin’s tour in case you didn’t know). But when we entered the secret VIP entrance, we were actually right on the floor! And to my surprise, we weren’t just allowed on the floor, we had access to the Super Fabulous VIP DELL Lounge that was situated right against the stage. We were as close as you could get. I was going to be within arms reach from Justin Timberlake! Thank you DELL!!
Our guys decided to take a seat in the back of the VIP section, which seemed like a good idea until the point where Justin finally came out. You see, the back of the VIP section was actually the front of the standing section, right where the girls were pushed up right up against the railing and screaming their heads off. Not that I didn’t suddenly feel like I was 13 again. Being 5 feet from Justin had me waving my arms and screaming weird things like “Over Here Justin!!!” while wearing a gigantic grin and starry eyed look on my face. I went home with a new found respect for JT. The guy can play the guitar, piano, sounds great live, and makes girls sweaty and faint when he dances. Now that’s talent.

Yup, he’s multitalented!
