Clan Wars has officially entered the Tournament phase.  The brackets have been posted on GameBattles and GameTrailers has camera in tow, waiting to film the most intense moments of action.  Congratulations to everyone who has made it this far and is still with us.  Soon you’ll have your name in lights and an opponent on the business side of your gun.

Here are the rules for the tournament:

Rules to Win

• Best of 3 rounds wins a map.  Spawn alternated each round.
• Best of 5 maps wins the match.  The same team cannot choose the same map twice.
• To win a round, all of your opponents must be eliminated.  Should a tie occur, the round will be replayed.
• If a player drops before the first kill, the round will be replayed.  If a player drops after the first kill, their team must play short-handed.

Limitations

• 4 minute rounds.
• No Embassy.
• No Subway

Match Progression

• Game mode is Team Survival.
• Match begins on the map “University.”
• Winner of University map chooses second map.  Map choice then alternates.  The team that does not choose the map will choose the beginning spawn.

Attendance and No-Shows

• Matches will be scheduled to allow as many team members as possible to attend.  If a player does not show, the team captain or another Frag Doll may offer to stand in.
• If a team makes it to the final match, and a player is absent, that player is not eligible to win the iPod nano in the event of a team victory.
