I have been a fan of the splinter cell series since “Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow”. The rush I get from sneaking up on terrorist and interrogating them is an amazing feeling. Even though I may not be the sneakiest gamer this game emphasizes stealth and paranoia. This game has taught me to be cautious in other games and in real life. Walking in New York City late at night can be a frightening task but after playing Splinter Cell it can be an exciting adventure! It’s easy for someone to lose track of the time, especially when one is having fun; I’ve gone through this many times. So when I’m on my way home I try to be extra careful and I think to myself, “What would Sam Fisher do?” First off, I’m sure he would be aware of his surroundings. So when I’m my way home I make sure to see who is in front and behind me. I also try to make step lightly because you never know what may be around the corner.
Second, I think if Sam Fisher saw a group of shady characters in his path he would distract them or sneak past them. When I see a group of shady characters in my path I try to distract them by throwing a can across the street and swiftly moving to my next position. The downside of this is the non shady characters in my path begin to stare and me and they wonder, “is this girl crazy or something?” Little do they know. I’m a gamer.
I then proceed to my next objective recovering something to eat. My mission: to satisfy my hunger. Now there were many different paths that I can take in order to complete my mission just like Sam does! Should I dash to the store and pick up a snack? Should I use the night to cloak me on my way to a nearby fast food restaurant? Or should I call upon a fellow spy (my mom) to extract important information like “what’s for dinner?” The answer seemed so clear. I decided that my spy mom could assist me on completing the mission by saving me some dinner. Since I completed the mission in this way, I was able to save my money for another future mission: Obtaining Splinter Cell Double agent for the XBOX 360.
