After reading about what to expect from this year’s Penny Arcade Expo, I could not help but GEEK out!!
I know it’s still a long way till August. Still, I can’t help but be excited, especially since Gabe from penny-arcade.com announced the keynote speaker this year - none other than nerd icon himself Wil Wheaton, who is better known as Wesley Crusher from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
I’m actually really excited to see him and maybe, if I’m lucky enough, even MEET him!! OMG!!
As for the bands performing there, they are as follows:
-Minibosses (I love these guys)
-MC Frontalot
-Jonathan Coulton
-Freezepop (OMG, my fav!!!)
-The NESkimos
-Optimus Rhyme
Of course, the Frag Dolls will be there, but the best part is that we will ALL be there!! This is another reason I love PAX - because I get to see all of my girls all at once, plus (and most importantly) our community members who are making the trip to Washington for some fun, gaming and good ol’ hanging out. I’m hoping to see some fresh new faces there this year from our forums, since we’ve got lot of time to start threading about this event.
