I am finally back from my travels! Jetting around from state to state was a mixture of fun, hard work, good times, stress, and adventurous all at the same time. Being gone from home for a long period of time really helps you appreciate how awesome a place you call your own can be. The good thing about my trip was that I mostly played video games, so I didn’t have to deal with gamer’s withdrawal. But I did miss out on a lot of online gaming action.
Since I’ve been home, I decided to play some games that have been collecting dust in my archive. Call of Duty 4 and Guitar Hero III are on that list, and I’m determined to play the crap out of them. During E3, I didn’t get to see much of the new games that each company had to offer because I was trying to kick Mischief’s butt in Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party (she had the high score and it got very competitive). But when I did have a break, I’d sneak off to the Rock Band 2 area and sing my lil’ heart out. I got some props from the guys there (Thank you! Thank you!).
On the Ubisoft side of the spectrum, I enjoyed playing Far Cry 2 and was stunned by how amazing Prince of Persia looked. If you have not checked out the videos for these two games, I recommend you do. They will definitely be must-haves.
FYI, stay tuned for a community gaming night on Call of Duty 4 with me. I just have to choose a day that most are able to get online.
P.S. I finally got my ears pierced! I am such a rebel without a cause.
Game on!
