League of Legends Newbie Tips

We’ve all been there before - that noob running around in circles, mashing buttons, not really knowing what this spell does, what our role is, or why that giant monster in front of us seems so horrendously angry.

In fact, I just experienced this sense of newbie-ness about a week ago when I decided to pick up League of Legends for the first time.

For those a bit out of loop, League of Legends is a free to play strategy game made by Riot Games, and it happens to be extraordinarily addicting. The basic rule of winning is simple - you must destroy your enemy’s Nexus before they take out your own. The route and strategy to get there, however, can vary greatly from match to match even while playing on the same map. The champions, or player controlled characters have a huge amount of variety to them, and personally, it would take me months to completely master them all.
