I know what you’re thinking! The face of an angel, tiny, funny, smart - and best of all,nerdy. Those are all enviable qualities.  However, there is something that she has that I want: Logan as her BFF.

During PAX and all the craziness, emotional roller coasters, and just overall mind-boggling weekend, Logan was a ray of strange and random sunshine. The Frag Dolls forum is where I was first introduced to his craziness, with his sig and avatar always giving me a giggle. One of the main reasons I decided to try out for the Frag Doll spot was the community; while I have not been active in the forums for long, I am the epitome of the “lurker” description.

Nerds, girls, and Logan are all a part of the amazing community here and its amazing how much of a “one big, geeky family” feel it has to it. Usually, when you’re new to a forum and you start posting, people will not be really receptive, but my weirdness was immediately accepted, even embraced! The thought crossed my mind, “Like, what have I been missing?!” And I haven’t looked back!

Much like my trashy celebrity gossip sites I have to visit hourly, I now feel the same keen addiction to the forums here. With excellent updates and discussions on gaming, to discussing my green bean and giraffe-hair bikini and root beer float hat with, of course, Logan. I feel like I won the lottery by having earned a spot in such an amazing team of women, not to mention getting to work for Ubisoft on top of it.

I told myself I wasn’t going to turn this blog into something serious and stuff, but I feel like I do need to take a part of my first blog and thank all the girls involved. The other candidates were simply a joy to get to know. Having been in the gaming scene for years, I now sometimes take for granted that there are competitive girls out and about that I still have not met. Lauren, I want to give you a special shout out for having to deal with me as your roomie and Kendra’s morning dance moves (ROFL).  To my now-current teammates, I can only hope to live up to the excellent job you have done in the last years representing women in gaming.

The community members also incredible! Gypsy, your smile,your bag of goodies, and just your overall self, were a joy to have a round, I don’t think the weekend would have gone so well without you there. Stone, we are the coolest neighbors ever! Logan, sweet Logan, only to be taken another *sigh*. Expo, seriously, you freaking rock; thanks for letting us get you a noise complaint in your room at 1 P.M. (seriously a first for me). There are more members but this blog would seriously be a novel if I said everyone’s name that was linked to awesome.

Back to important - I would just like to know if there was a backup system for BFFs; like if Logan and I were at an event but Jinx wasn’t, could I be the fill-in BFF? Think about it, talk amongst yourselves - I mean, c’mon, give a girl a little hope please! I need a community BFF so maybe someone will step up and take the plate? I think it’s the only way I can get over this heartbreak that is Logan.
