Along with 7 other killer candidates, Renelly joined us at the THX studios for our crazy awesome Casting Call.  There were cat fights, pillow fights, mario kart fights, and old-fashioned brass knuckle fights.  Ok, well maybe not. But there were definitely mario kart fights.  It was a great time, and each of the candidates has written a blog for us about her experience at the Casting Call.  Here’s Renelly’s:

Adventures in Gaming

Its rare that one meets a group of genuine ladies who have many things in common with you. From the moment you see them it feels as if you have known them for a long time, even if it’s the first time you meet them. I was privileged enough to meet such a group of ladies during my adventure in California.

After a long and tiring flight from New York City, I arrived at my destination filled with relief and excitment. while I was at the airport waiting for a few of the girls to arrive I had many thoughts going through my mind. Will they like me? will I make a good first impression? Are they nice?  My mind was racing with thoughts. But after meeting the first group of girls my mind was at ease. I first met Don, Calistah, and Brookelyn and these girls are awsome. We all seemed to click right away. This was something amazing! Being surrounded by hard-core girl gamers like me who play for hours at a time and talk about games offline.

Soon after Cella found us and joined the group. I was glad that I had some cool chickas with me as we waited for the other girls to arrive.  The next girl to arrive was Gypsy, i knew it was her because she was wearing the infamous tie died shirt and we all greeted her with hugs.

We knew we had to wait for one more girl and it was just a matter of finding her. Luckily Moe found us. At this point most of us were all together and it was time for us to head to the hotel. The drive to the hotel was long but since all of us girls were together it felt much shorter, since we were talking and gaming on our nintendo dual screens.

Upon arriving at the hotel we were checked in and we met up with Ang3l. Once we were together it was all about girl talk, hanging out and gaming fun! but things didn’t liven up until we had the final piece of the puzzle, and thats when Nint9y Nin9 arrived.

After the union of us girls known as the Elite 8, our weekend was set. Each of us had something different: personalities, skills, and experiences in gaming. I knew the competition would be fierce and I was right.  But I was determined to give it my all and do my best and prove that I have what it takes to be a Frag Doll.
