Persistence pays….
Sep 08, 10:27 am

Well I reached one of my goals, yes, I finally did it! After over 28 days of game play (nowhere near the most even in the top ten …) I have broken the 1000 win streak on Call of Duty; World at War, Free For All! I am now the second to break that streak on Free For All and the only female to break that streak period.

Now you might be thinking there is no way that you can get 1000 wins in a row, on any game, which is correct. As you can see in the picture I do have 1189 losses, I did get the occasional second place and of course that consisted of me throwing my controller down and yelling at my TV screen, but I did keep going. The way the win streaks work with Call of Duty World at War is when you do get 1st place it counts as a win of course, but when you get 2nd or 3rd it doesn’t end your win streak, but it does count as a loss. So now for the past 1000 or so games I have not ever gotten 4th place and came in first place consistently for over 1000 games.

I do mainly come in 1st and rarely do I come in 2nd, but hey, nobody is perfect. Now as for Team Death Match and the other categories go, if you lose, you lose your streak. It’s just different for Free for All. It is very hard to continue this streak especially when you are put into random games that have already been played for a while before you enter because if the game ends before you reach 3rd place you lose your streak too. While working to get this streak I have also compiled over 6000 wins in FFA (also seen in the pic) and a win loss ratio over a 5.14 which is the highest in the top 65 players in FFA. Now it is time to soak my sore hands, make a new goal and break it.
