Since Halloween, the most fun holiday, is around the corner I wanted to write about a few ideas I had for it. Of course there is the candy, which all of us will get some one way or another. Then there are the parties which most of us have at least one to go to if not two or three. The best part about Halloween to me though is of course the costumes. I have had a few ideas swarming around in my head on what I should be but I just can’t seem to narrow it to just one.

Now these are not just any costumes, they are of course game themed. One of the first Ideas I had was a Call of Duty theme outfit where I would be a medic, soldier or officer from the game. I really have freedom to be creative with this one because there are so many different countries with so many different uniforms and outfits in the games. From the Americans, British, Germans or Soviets in WWII or S.A.S, USMC, OpFor and Spetnaz in Modern Warfare the choices are endless.

I have also looked to some of the Tom Clancy series’ for motivation in picking out a costume.  In the Rainbow Six series you play as a Rainbow Operative which is similar to a S.W.A.T. officer. You have the option in the game to customize the characters armor with colors, designs and styles which pretty much make the costume possibilities infinite.

Now military outfits can be fun but there are endless other possibilities too which I have come across while searching for ideas online.  Cortana from the popular Halo, Joanna Dark from Perfect Dark and Trish from Devil May Cry are some of the cool outfits I have seen so far. I know there is always the popular Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, but it has become so cliché I really want to do something different this year.

For now I am going to continue looking before I make my final decision but if anyone has any ideas to help I am always open to suggestions.  I will be sure to post some pics of my outfit after Halloween so stay tuned.
