Just getting home from E3 last night makes me wish I could go back and have more fun at playing video games, but I want to share with you one of the many experiences I had at E3 this year. All of us Dolls were assigned this year at certain booths to demo the games of Ubisoft’s line up, I was one of the lucky ones that got scheduled at the Ghost Recon Online area.
In this area there are 8 stations of which people were able to come and play the game against each other, one side against the other. (4v4) Out of 3 different classes that was available, you were able to choose which kind of soldier you wanted to be, I chose the sniper.
With a little bit of time of practicing the game and understanding the controls, we wanted to do shoot outs throughout the event, a few times against the public and once against the developers.During the shoot outs we had a couple of our cadets show off their skill with the game as well, Kathleen, Ashlee, and Kristen were our dynamic team that helped us play against the public.
As for the developer shoot out, us Dolls took the job with no hesitation. Understanding that the developers know every single thing that happens in the game kind of felt intimidating at firs,t but that natural instinct of just wanting to kick ass at video games totally kicked in. So getting ready for our challenge we strategized a plan of how we wanted to go about this. The game was on Domination, where you had to capture specific points of the map until you capture them all, which wins the game. We decided to have 3 assault (which are pretty much the run and gunners) and recon (myself as the sniper that picks the enemy off and covers my team members).

So there we were all with our game faces on ready to just annihilate the developers. Starting off we captured C, which I hung back and the others went around to flank while they were distracted trying to kill me. It totally worked....we got C pretty quickly, then we were off to B which was a little challenging since they were strategizing amongst themselves as well, but we managed to capture B. When we got to the last capture point at A it was tough, they started to get their groove of knowing what to do and where to go but we still captured A.
All in all this is an amazing game, that I will definitely be getting and trying out. No joke, it’s sweet. Can’t wait until next year to see what else is coming out.
