Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I liked to take a minute
Just sit right there
I’ll tell you how I went home to my town by the Air
In west Oregon born and raised
On the sand dunes was where I spent most of my days
Chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool
And all swimmin laps in the local pool
When a couple years pass
Being homesick was no good
Startin to really miss my neighborhood
I got in one little plane and my mom was prepared
She said ‘You’re comin home’ by the land sea or air’
I let her know I was on my way
I then packed my suit case and was ready that day
I handed the flight attendant my ticket.
I put my iPod on and said, ‘I might as well kick it’.
First place I go when I arrive
I head to Muchas Gracias for carne asada and fries
Off to Old Town, shops, cars, streets lined in flowers
On the ways theres Firehouse, their famous chowder
But wait off to Burns, where my familys all at
Isn’t that the place with the worlds fattest cat?
I do really think so Kucing’s where its at
With Gushers, Starbucks and orange soda till I get there
I arrive to my Thanksgiving by air
Well, I got there and my fam came out
There was my moms Lanora, Grandma, even my nephew was out
I ain’t trying to get questioned
I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightening, then inside I disappeared
After a few days I knew the time was near
I wave to all my family as I looked in the mirror
If anything I can say this state is rare
But I thought ‘Never forget it’ - ‘Yo to my home by air’
I arrived back home about 7 or 8
And I yelled for my kitties ‘Yo Baxter and Bailey!’
I looked at my bed
I was finally back there
But thats how I went home to my town by the air
