I have finally done it! I have conquered a game, a game that I have been working on for months now! The game is called Warcraft 3, but it’s not on the campaign. I have been playing Warcraft 3 for about 3 years now and have loved every minute of it. Having played the mini games on battle net, I have always stuck with playing Hero Wars, Hero Line Wars, Mafarazzo Solo Tower Wars and of course the DOTA’s (Defense of the Ancients) . There was one mini game that I always got frustrated on, it was Mafarazzo Tower Defense. Now this type of mini game takes a lot of strategy and usually takes a 5 person team to beat, but for me being the gamer that I am, I wanted to do it all by myself.
Mafarazzo Tower Defense consists of 40 levels of intense building and defending from what are called, “creeps.” You start the game with 20 lives, to not lose these lives you have to make sure that the creeps don’t get passed your defense and get to the center of the map, because if you do, every creep that gets past takes one of your lives. To prevent this from happening you start out with a peasant that builds towers that can shoot: arrows, cannons, nukes, poison, ice and lightning, but you have to be sure to combine them to destroy the creeps accurately. For example, while creeps are coming down the lanes, a combination of poison and ice will completely stall the creeps, giving you more time to destroy them with your cannons, nukes and arrow towers
.
There are 40 levels of creeps to go through when playing this game. It starts out with easy levels such as, Runners, Running Horses, Skeletons, Taurens, Spiders and so forth. It gradually gets harder and harder into the level 20’s which consists of Green Dragons, Demolishers, Keeper of the Groves, and one of the hardest levels “The Golden Dragons.” Once I have made it through those levels, I get to the hardest parts of this game which would be in the level 30’s. Not only would they be hard to destroy, they tend to also attack your towers at the same time, which obviously sucks. Once having made it to level 40, then will come the big boss men, “The Elementals.” This last level is especially hard because even if you have all 20 lives left and one of the elementals pass you, you lose the game. So it is important to make sure that you’re set up in the end for success
.
So I challenge you gamers out there, to find a game that is virtually impossible to do by yourself and see if you can beat it. No matter how cramped your fingers may get, or the migraines you get from staring at the screen, the satisfaction from beating something that is nearly impossible will make your day. Game on Gamers!
