A Blast From the Past
Nov 05, 8:00 am

With all of the big events out of the way, us Frag Dolls finally get a chance to relax. As for me, vacation was just what the doctor ordered. I decided to go to San Francisco and enjoy the little things in life… Like a beautiful drive up the coastline, oyster shucking and eating foods that I never thought I would ever try.

But that isn’t all! One day in San Fran, I was walking along the bay area enjoying some yummy clam chowder while still digesting Indian and Chinese food. My friend and I came across an old arcade. That’s when it hit me...Game Time!!! I remember my mother talking about these games, and playing a few of them when I was growing up.

So, the adventure continued… We started out playing an old-school first person shooter. Now I don’t know if you ever played these kinds of games, but they are a little difficult. The aiming part was the challenging thing about it...you couldn’t really aim down the sights. That’s ok though… I still won. rasberry.

The next game that I tried out was an old-school arm wrestling game. You put a quarter in, and literally arm-wrestle a machine. I’m not ‘miss-muscles’ here, so I decided to go with Bantum Weight...Yeah, I’m weak, and I think I might have pulled something. It was fun anyway!

The next game we came across was the boxing match game. I’m pretty sure that the game was made in the 1940’s. It was amazing...You had to pull two triggers to be able to make your character punch like a madman. It was epic! We really got into it. Being the gamer that I am, I really enjoyed seeing the old games, which are the ancestors of the games we have now. Enjoying the little things. smile
