Have you considered applying to the Frag Dolls Cadette program but haven’t taken that consideration level up to serious status? Read on.

At E3 ‘09 the Dolls told us casting call candidates that they were going to get the Cadette program up & running within a few months. I made it into the first Fall class after that summer. I got the opportunity to go to some really cool events that season.

The program is so fantastic because you get the chance to go to all these events that you’d want to go to anyway if you could afford it! You get to do a job involving video games; umm awesome! I can’t describe how incredible it is to meet and surround yourself with other girls who game. I love being around females who really GET it; not just understand & accept it like most my normal-non-gamer girl friends, heh.

I’ll give you an example of an great moment of comradery I felt recently at E3 a couple weeks ago… I was with a small group of the Cadettes were walking back from the expo to the hotel. We were all wound up from the excitement of the day and some of us were in especially goofy moods. I somehow busted into song of the ol’ Pokémon theme song. One of the Cadettes, Jessica/ PMS Ruckus, jumped right in and joined me. We proceeded to do that with Digimon, Monster Rancher, and so on.. It was one of those ‘I am happy to be where I am with the people I’m here with’ moments.  I love being with girls who get my references, make references that I get, share some nerdy commonalities with me, and get excited about the stuff that I do.

The Cadette program brought many new wonderful things into my life. It has undoubtedly given me the best adventures, memories, and excitement in my life. How’s that for some heartfelt testament? I implore you to seek a similar experience and apply to the Cadette Academy. So girls- stop hesitating, stalling, whatever and get your arse in gear.
