Since everyone is probably writing their blog on PAX this week, I’m going to eat Andes Mint pie. Mmmm hmmmmm. Delicious; smooth and creamy. Speaking of Andes, I have this really good picture of Andy from PAX… check it out.

Oh yeah, I wasn’t going to write about PAX… instead, I’m going to write about Xbox Live Arcade. I’ve been so enveloped in Rainbow Six: Vegas recently, I haven’t even glanced at the arcade games in months. Did you know there’s a Hexic 2?? Sweet Mother of Cured Meats! I’m going to buy it right now. Done. It’s not the same innocent and cartoony, Dr. Mario-esque colored jewels, but spooky I-Robot-ish gem-like chaos! Oh, XBLA (pronounced “EX-blah"), how you tickle my gaming ribs with your colors and puzzle fun yummies. Every time I make a special piece and select it, it makes a robot sound, like that crazy Neo-wannabe game designer guy from Grandma’s Boy. Beezzzrrr, bjj-zhoop! Eeeeek! A bomb! They look decidedly like Bomberman’s head this go-round… not sure if I should report that to Hudson Soft, or not (Ubisoft has published a few Bomberman titles, so I feel like we have a brotherly bond).

I didn’t want to admit this, but I can feel the pie I just ate in my brain nerves and flowing through my veins like a river of cool sugary tingles. This should make for some interesting blogging. K, blog break for Hexic play. Zeep boop, breep zing. Neato! That was fun.

So anyway, let’s see what other arcade games are there for me to buy… hmmmmm. Oh, yeah! Bomberman Live, which I blogged about and even downloaded, but haven’t played yet… gotta remind myself to get some play time in on that, and soon (I’ll use the Hexic 2 bombs like virtual Post-It notes: “Diffuse me, then play Bomberman Live"). It is definitely going to be ooh- and ahh-some. Browsing, browsing… let’s stick with the robot theme and check out Robo Blitz; I mentioned this in my Digital Life blog and then completely spaced on it. Dang, and it even has Space Pirates in it for me to make go blowed-up, just like in real life! This game harnesses the true essence of radical and embodies the mind and soul in a smooth, full-on, collision-based physics engine. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you play the game. Youz bumps into stuffs.

Hee hee! I can’t stop giggling. It’s almost midnight and my sugar high is soaring. I’m going to run around the house with the dog, while you watch this cool video.  Peace!
