I have the anticipation of a child on Christmas Eve - watching commercials with clenched fists, shrieking at the sight of the new doll that eats and poops - when I think of all the announced, unreleased games. It is now April (BTW, Happy April Fools Day last week) and I can feel my eagerness grow as the year rolls forward. In relation to that, for my April Fools resolution, there is one thing I must strive to do. As I obtain each of these highly anticipated games, I am promising to myself that I will enjoy it to its fullest enjoyment capacity.
There are a lot of games that I love, but don’t find enough time for. The next thing I know, I have bought another game and another, and the first was unappreciated and is sitting on my shelf still holding the hidden mysteries at the conclusion of the game. I think this is some sort of moral issue and I wish to correct it for future games I play. I feel like my eyes are too big for my thumbs with all the games I obtain, compared to the time I am able to spend playing them.
I suppose the solution to this problem is to not purchase a game until my previous fixation is explored to its fullest capacity. Though, I don’t know that I’ll even have the time to explore a fixation with all the Rainbow Six Vegas I’ll be playing in preparation for the MLG tournaments this year. Anyhow, if you don’t know which games to look forward to this year, check these out:
