Addddddventure Time!  Shing, shing!  Sean (a friend from out of town), my Ben and I went hiking and spelunking last night.  We set off around 10:30PM and didn’t get back until 5AM.  As we trudged deep into the lush underbelly of the forest, I kept stopping to inspect the beautiful texture of the rocks, splash in muddy puddles, and rub up against the tough chewy bark of the trees.

As my companions and I set out into the depths of the jungle, we weren’t aware of how our night long voyage would bond us together.  Within the first few minutes we armed ourselves with weapons for protection against the creatures we would find lurking in the woods.  It wasn’t long before we ran into a pack of Grunts, Brutes and Jackals waiting to destroy us. We took on our enemies with an aggressive fierceness that didn’t leave a single one of them standing.

Our exploration led us through the deep jungle where Ben discovered a small monkey family snuggled in the crevice of a rock.  Here’s a picture of our discovery:

As we played through the Halo 3 campaign on Legendary, we learned to rely on each other and work as a team.  Sean took out all the snipers, Ben rifled swarms of enemies, while I ran ahead, screaming like a little girl (cause that’s what I am), in hopes that I would warp everyone with me if I could stay alive long enough. We made it to a cave furnished like the inside of a dragon where we fought through floods of bad guys.  I only shot the pulsing punkins a couple times, dispersing tiny attacking baby monsters, even though I felt like popping all of them.  Talk about will power!

Our journey was nearing an end, when Sean took the wheel of the warthog and drove us through an explosive road.  The ground was falling from beneath us, while masses of enemies escaping the detonations attacked us, trying to drag us down with them in a futile attempt at retribution.  Ka-boom!  Aaah!  Hard left!  Blammo!  Sharp right!!  Hit that jump!  Not that one, the OTHER ONE!!!!!!!  Smash!  Okay, I guess that one worked, too!  Now floor it!  Up the ramp!  720 kick-flip with a cherry on top!  Mathematical!!  Now grind that pack of Flood spores!  Squiiiish!  Algebraic!  Woah, huge ramp into the freighter!  Nice driving, Sean!  Final cut-scene!  Legendary campaign achievement!  Exclamation point!  Go Club Pikachu!
