Where to begin? have been in Miami Florida for the past week or two vacationing. I am not sure if there is anything better than laying on the beach in complete silence. The sound of the waves crashing around me was so calming. The warm sun covered me with the kind of warmth you can’t get unless you are right near an ocean. Miami is such a beautiful place, with so many beautiful people. I would recommend a vacation in Miami to anyone who is interested. There are shops, there are clubs, there are nice looking people everywhere, and best of all, the beaches are hardly ever crowded. I got to see some of my family as well, which was the icing on the cake. I don’t get to see my family very often, so anytime spent with them is valuable time.
As you can imagine, all this time in Miami has taken me away from my first love, gaming. I brought my Xbox with me (there is no way I could be away from it for two weeks), but unfortunately, my forgetful side showed its ugly head. I left my CD case with all my games in my friends’ car. So I lugged my Xbox all the way down to Miami with no games to play. You could imagine the feeling, I set my Xbox up to the TV, then noticed my games were no where to be found. I searched up and down for them, and it dawned on me knew exactly where they were. Ohwell...I had the beach.
From Miami I took a short plane ride to Orlando Florida. I was going to the Game Stop convention, held at the beautiful Gaylord Hotel which screamed of the tropics. But before I got there, the plane ride was one of the scariest things I have ever experienced. We flew on one of those tiny little planes with two propellers on the front and only one seat per row. I have always traveled in 747’s, or big planes like that. To say the least, it took some getting used to.
I was at the convention to play Ghost Recon 2. Ubisoft made really cool flyers, with all the Fragdolls in the center of the Flyer. Under our picture it said, “bring it, feeling lucky?” It was very cool. Anyone could play me, and if they got more kills, they got a copy of Rainbow Six. But as you can guess , no one beat me. There was one player who came close but I got one more kill in the last second. He posted up in a good spot as I was running around killing. He was getting a lot of kills, but I pulled through in the end. I wish I could remember his tag so I could give him much respect. I can’t wait to get home to my normal life of constant gaming.
