I started playing the Facebook game ‘Restaurant City’ two weeks ago.  At first I had no interest in playing it; the only reason I signed up is to make a dummy account for Valkyrie because she was beyond obsessed with this game.  She and her sister asked me to sign up and give them all my ingredients so they could level up their menu.  None of this made sense to me, but since I was stuck in a hotel in Philly with nothing better to do, I complied. 

I logged on and immediately Amber (Valkyrie’s identical twin sister) took over my computer and started sending all my ingredients to her restaurant.  I quietly watched her in the background and noticed some things about the game that interested me.  First, I got to decorate my restaurant anyway I wanted to; this appealed to me because interior decorating is something that I have always loved.  The second thing that caught my eye was the leveling up system; I noticed the more you level up the bigger and more badass your restaurant can be.  It wasn’t very long before I put a stop to Amber raiding my inventory and started playing the game for myself.

Check out my restaurant!  I named it Brookie Mama’s….Get it? Isn’t it the cutest?  Well it’s not hard to guess what inspired this color scheme. 

I’m not only writing this blog to show off my cute little restaurant but to also to encourage you all to play.  The game is simple: Hire your Facebook friends to run your restaurant, level up your menu so you can serve your costumers more food and as you level you make more money to decorate your restaurant anyway you like.  Easy enough, right?  The more Facebook friends you have playing the game the more ingredients you will get; so now you can see my hidden agenda for writing this blog.

There is a bonus for me being your friend too, I love helping my friends get set up so you can message me with any questions you have if you don’t understand a certain part of how the game is suppose to be played.  I also have tons of items I don’t use anymore (thanks to my indecisiveness) that I save just so I can send my friends to get their restaurants looking fresh.

I know a few of you already play this game, feel free to take a screen shot of your restaurant and show it off in this thread.  I love to see everyone’s design layout.  So far Valkyrie’s and Melonie’s are my favorites besides my own of course.
