Utah and the Magic Wand
Jul 13, 6:34 am

JB and I try our best to go on vacation once a year.  We’re a little different than some people; vacation to us means not having a schedule or any kind of plan, we just like to wake up and whatever we feel like doing at that moment, we do.  That is why visiting my father in Utah seemed like a perfect place for us to chill for a week.  My father lives in a small town called Paragonah, with a population of around 325 people.
On our first day JB and I decided to play in the dirt in my dad’s backyard. Quite a playground if you ask me:

On our second day we drove behind my dad while he took his Harley for a ride.  My dad is at his happiest when he is on the open road cruising on his bike.  I could watch him all day, he is such a free spirit and I wish I were more like him. When he is on his bike I can tell he has no worries or cares in the world.  Unfortunately, I wasn’t wearing appropriate clothing that day so I decided against riding with him, but he still let me sit on it and at least act like I was a badass for a couple of minutes.

Every day after that I just hung out with my dad, watched tons of movies and painted anything I could get my hands on with Sharpie paint makers.  I painted rock people, boxes, a divining rod (which transforms into a slingshot) and my favorite, a magic wand.  JB painted a magic wand with me, but his doesn’t work.  I guess he doesn’t believe hard enough. So far I could only get my magic wand to turn a stuffed animal into a real dog, but I’m sure over time with a lot of practice I will be able to have Harry Potter -like powers.
