I’m lacking on ideas to write about, so I have decided to use this opportunity to vent about my recurring tax payments.  I HATE THEM!  Every year I owe more and more money.  The moment I finally get a head on my payments another tax year comes and puts me right back into debt.

When I was little I remember hearing adults bitch about how much they hated the government.  I never fully understood this hate until 3 years ago, when I first became a Frag Doll.  I was hired on as a contractor.  This was my first time as a contractor and I had no idea what I was getting myself into.  I was told up front I needed to withhold 20% of my checks for Taxes.  Easier said then done.  It hard to make a saving account for the government, especially when the money is already in your hands.  There is no way I’m going to say, “Darn, I can’t buy these designer jeans because the government deserves this money more.” With this attitude I quietly realized I will be a prisoner to taxes F O R E V E R!

Thank God, Ubisoft finally hired us on as employees.  I finally get my taxes withheld automatically (I totally prefer it this way.) But unfortunately for this year, the switch from contractor to employee took place half way through the year, meaning I still owe money; this means I will procrastinate filing until the very last second of the deadline and bitch every time I have to make a payment for an entire year.  Sound like fun, right?

Anyways this is my rant I hope you enjoyed it.  For all of you getting a return this year – lucky you.  For me, I will be in my closet mastering the crying door slide.
