Splinter Cell Conviction Released!
Apr 14, 9:21 am

Splinter Cell ConvictionThere is probably a really good chance no one will be reading my blog today.  I have a feeling everyone is too busy playing Ubisoft’s newest Tom Clancy game that was released yesterday - Splinter Cell Conviction.  In the last twenty-four hours I have seen numerous status updates and tweets about this game and how much everyone is enjoying playing it!  I love reading so many positive feedbacks about the game; as most of you know the Frag Dolls have been promoting Splinter Cell Conviction for the past six months.  Even though we didn’t have a part in making the game, working to market the game has given us the feeling that Splinter Cell Conviction is our baby.  We were all rooting for it to be successful and according to our community, friends and the industry’s reviews it seems like the latest game in the Splinter Cell series has lived up to its expectations. Check out some of the reviews below:

IGN gives Splinter Cell Conviction 9.3 calling it “Outstanding”

1Up gives Splinter Cell Conviction an A-.

Gamespot 8/10 “Great”

GameInformer 9.0

Thinking back when I first saw the trailer for this game I knew it had potential, but then when I got the opportunity to play it before anyone else I knew without a doubt it was going to be Ubisoft’s biggest and greatest game title of 2010. Everything I loved about the previous Splinter Cell games in the series is back, along with some great added features and more fluid game play.  When you have a game this great it makes our job easy.  I knew Splinter Cell could sell itself and it did!

Before I end this blog I wanted to share something you might not know about Splinter Cell Conviction, but I think our community will appreciate as much as the Frag Dolls do.  Did you know SCC played a part in building the Frag Doll community this year? Yes! It’s true! Each great game produced is attached to a great team of people working endless hours to make sure the game is as successful as it deserves to be.  Not only do the Frag Dolls support the Splinter Cell brand, but the brand supports us back.  They have helped fund some of our favorite moments this year.  For example: The first ever Frag Doll PAX EAST Party was partially sponsored by the Splinter Cell brand.  And as we all know that party will go down in history as being one of the best parties ever thrown at a gaming industry event.  The party was a blast but most importantly it brought our community closer and has even grown it in size.  The brand also played a huge part in supporting the Cadettes this year at PAX EAST, giving them their first experience in what it’s like working in the gaming industry.  If it wasn’t for brands like Splinter Cell supporting us, our community probably wouldn’t be as successful as it has become.  For those of you that never really thought about it, take this time and think about the Frag Doll community a year ago and compare it to what it is now.  See any difference? I do! From the new members to more opportunities for girls in gaming, more community activities, healthier forum topics and great relationships being formed. That said, thank you again Ubisoft and the Splinter Cell team for making such an awesome game and for allowing our community to shine.

Now let’s get some CO-OP matches started!!! Did anyone see me play CO-OP on Main Stage at PAX EAST? I’m deadly and a force to be reckoned with, so you might want to stand in line now if you want me as your teammate. rasberry
