Me and My Katamari
Mar 25, 7:40 am

Recently I bought Anim8r, Me & My Katamari for PSP.  I love buying him gifts because it’s like I get a gift as well.  So of course I have been playing it a little more than him and I have to say this game isn’t retard friendly.  I know what you’re thinking: how can Katmari get any easier than it already is?  Yes I’m aware it’s just a little ball you roll around, but I’m a little slow when it comes to using the PSP controls.  I can’t get that stupid Katmari to move the way I want it to.  I try everything! I want to go right and I go left, I want to turn around and I go straight.  My mind just can’t gasp the control setup.  I get so irritated because one of the reasons I love Katamari so much is because it’s so relaxing, but this one problem I have makes me more upset than anything.  I’ve been playing on JB’s PSP, but I really need to switch over to mine before I break his. I find myself pressing the buttons extremely hard out of frustration.  I realize this problem is me and not the game.  I watched JB play it and he rolls all over the place.

But don’t get me wrong the GAME is great! Me & My Katamari are just like all the other previous Katamari’s, but instead of rolling up planets, you roll up islands.  All the little cousins are still there living on their own special island (beanstalk island, I believe) and the prince is as cute as ever.  Oh and if Katamari isn’t your game, you’v got to get it just for the King.  He is more flamboyant than ever!  I can’t help but think the developers were giggling to themselves when they thought up his dance move. Oh and remember not to lose!  The King will punch you in the butt! I’m being totally serious right now.  It’s great!

CHeck out my Katmari

Edit:  After playing this game for a couple more hours, I came across a few problems I want to share.

  • Throughout the game you play on the same 3 or 4 maps, it only changes content on each level.  I find this boring!
  • The frame rate is slow.
  • When the Katmari gets bigger you will run into wall glitches.
  • After rolling three Katmari’s your thumb will feel like they are on fire!
