New York Comic Con 2009 is only two days away!  There are several reasons I’m excited about this event:
1. Frag Dolls have not traveled since Major League Gaming-Dallas.  It will be nice to room with my girls again and catch up on all the gossip.  I must say, it’s going to be strange not to have our little Psyche in New York with us.  When I think of New York I think of Psyche.  Psyche as a Californian still blows my mind a little.  She is doing her thing though, so you go girl!
2.  Comic Con New York is much smaller than the San Diego event, but this is what I love about it.  I can hear myself think.  I’m not shoulder checked by Star War cosplayers every two seconds and I find myself enjoying my work a lot more.  With the atmosphere so chill, it also gives us more time to hang out with our community friends throughout work.
3.  During my breaks I’m looking forward to scouting out handmade plushy toys.  Most of you know that making plushies is a hobby of mine.  I’m always on the lookout for new ideas, or how to make my toys better. Comic Con is a perfect place to get inspired.
4.  As I mentioned in last weeks blog, I’ll be giving a few of our community members my new Flip camera.  Since I have to work, I’m depending on them to film all things Comic Con.  I’m excited to see what creative footage they capture.  Remember: NO NUDITY Y’all!
5.  New York means shopping!  Clothes, shoes, back alley knock off purses and more.
I could go on and on about shopping a lone, so I’m just going to end the list here.

I haven’t researched the Comic Con site yet, so I’m not sure what NEW exciting people or items will be featured, but I do know what games Ubisoft will be showcasing during the event.
