Life is Good
Oct 14, 7:16 am

I had such a great Monday and Tuesday.  I can’t remember when I had gotten to do something on a weekday that I considered fun.  Monday I flew to L.A and met up with all the Frag Dolls to shoot a show for Spike TV called Game Head. It’s been a while since I had gotten to do something with all of them, and it was really cool because Spike TV shot the show at the Four Season Hotel in Beverly Hills, where we got the royal treatment - by this I mean getting our makeup done by a professional makeup artist.

I know we play video games and all, but don’t forget we are still girls, getting our makeup done is like guys getting to do nothing but watch football all day long.  We looked beautiful; besides the fact that my hair was doing something funky.  Everyone seemed to be energetic and spoke with confidence, so I think the show is going to be great.  Speaking of the show, it’s already going to air on Spike TV this Saturday at midnight so don’t forget to check us out.  I know the time slot isn’t the best, but hey that’s what Tivo is for.

So to continue with part two of the exciting week, Jinx, Valkyrie, and I got to fly out to San Francisco the next day to attend an Xbox 360 party.  It was amazing!  I don’t know if this is true, but I think I was the only Frag Doll who had yet to play the 360 (Jinx can correct me if I’m wrong) so I was in heaven, as any Xbox fan would be.  There was a total of eleven games to play.  I would like to say I played all of them, but I admit I bypassed all the sports games.  Just not my style, ya know?

Call of Duty looked and played awesome.  Funny, because I always hated that game; if it isn’t Rainbow get it out of my face kind of attitude.  Sad, I know.  Anyway I gave it a try and the graphic are so beautiful; the game felt so real, there is no way I could deny that the game isn’t incredible.  Some of the other games I got to play were Kameo, Project Gotham Racing 3, and Condemned.  Out of all the games, Condemned caught my eye the most; I always seemed to wander back to that game.  It’s published by Sega and I want to describe it as a Psycho Thriller FPS. I played a chapter and a half on this game and there were some cool features I would like to point out.

When you start, you’re on a mission to investigate a murder.  Your character is equipped with many gadgets to be used to determine the cause of death.  Once you collect enough clues you make your way to the killer, but you have to watch out because there’s these crazy weirdos that come out of NOWHERE to try to kick your ass.  The story moves slowly, but this helps to make it so damned scary.  Imagine looking around in all corners, hearing bottles break and doors creak and then seeing some random dude’s shadow crawling up in the ceiling.  Freaky stuff, I tell ya.  Don’t worry though - you get to carry a gun, and if you feel creative you can grab objects around your environment such as metal pipes, 2x4’s to beat the crap out of the psycho killers.

So that was my fun for the week, great way to start off a Monday, huh?  To make the week even more exciting, now that I’ve missed two days of school I only have two more school days remaining this week… Woohoo! Life is fun…

‘Till next time, Ciabatta!
