Gaming Is Divine
Jan 23, 8:16 am

Having a second job really put a strain on being a Frag Doll and gaming in general.  It’s sad to admit, but I haven’t touched a game for over a month.  This is definitely a record for me.  I used to get withdrawals if I had to go more than a day with no games, and now a whole month!  What’s happening to me?  I’ll tell ya, I guess after 25 years of living, I finally got introduced to living in the real world by getting an 8-to-5 job!!!  When I used to play six to eight hours a day, I never understood what the casual gamers were talking about when they said they were “too tired” or “had to get to bed for work in the morning.” I just remember thinking, “Geez, it sucks to be you.” Now, look at me.  I totally became that person and I don’t like it one bit!!

It was time to make a decision… Since I’m probably the worst decision maker in the world, I decided to pray and leave this up to God… After hours of prayer, God came to me, and you know what he said?  “Game on, girl!” I was like, “WHOA, you like me playing games?” He said, “I would rather see you play games then stamp mail for a living, plus gaming is a lot more entertaining for me.” Wow, who knew God was a gamer?  I knew there was a reason I loved him so much. smile

The next day I decided to quit my job as a temp and started putting all my energy back into Frag Dolls.  It was amazing!  After a full night of sleep, I woke up with the desire to play my Wii (which has been abandoned since the second day I got it.) I played Trauma Center, Rayman, and even a little Guitar Hero 2.  It was such a awesome feeling to have the desire back.  For a minute there, I thought maybe I was growing up and just lost all interest.  Thank God (literally), that wasn’t the case!
