Top 3 Skyrim Shouts
Jan 12, 8:00 am

6070532375_9c626c03a0_o.png

With all there is to do in what feels like the never ending (and addictive) world of Skyrim, things can be easily missed. Shouts are one of those things, especially when we’re knee deep in a dungeon filled by the undead, a ton of bandits, rebels or oversized rats and spiders.

In order to avoid missing out on some of the best shouts in the game I’ve put together a small list of what I think are some of the most useful shouts to make plundering, looting, adventuring and dragon slaying that much easier for all of us.

Enjoy!

P.S. Sorry about that arrow to the knee, you would have made a great adventurer.

The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Concert
Jan 06, 9:00 am

6070532435_6529bbac4b_o.png

I have many fond memories blowing into a golden Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) cartridge and cheering for my brother as he ventured through countless dungeons filled with bats and living skeletons, issuing commands via a square controller. Twenty two years later, you can imagine my excitement and supreme fan-girling as I walked through the halls decked with banners of Hyrule throughout the Pantages Theater on October 21, 2011. Growing up with a game genre that was created in the year of my birth, I have seen it evolve from a pixelated 8-bit game, to the astonishing 3-D graphics on the Nintendo 64, to being able to completely embody Link on his adventures on the Nintendo Wii. The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Concert was nothing short of surreal. Listening to a live orchestra, my mind swept back through the Zelda games and touched my heart in ways only live music can. I was a kid again.

I hope you all enjoy this little video that I created in commemoration of this special day.

Thanks for watching!

Thanks to everyone who participated and made the very first “Draw a Doll” contest such a success. We even had one participant create an amazing piece featuring all of the Frag Dolls. John Hernandez drew this only using MS paint, and managed to reference a variety of different gaming titles. Can you guess which ones?

HELP US SPREAD THE WORD:

Prove your worth this Frag Doll Friday
Oct 04, 6:00 am

fdfheader

Planeswalker, are you ready to prove your worth on the battlefield?

On October 7th (6PM-8PM PST) you’ll get a chance to take on the Frag Dolls and Cadettes playing Magic the Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 on Xbox 360. This Frag Doll Friday the ladies are taking challenges on Two-Headed giant- and maybe a little free-for-all if you’re lucky or unlucky. Head on over and sign up on the Xbox website!  It’s all fun and games until someone slings an 11/11 Darksteel Colossus with Trample…

What’s new?

The Wizards of the Coast website lists some of the biggest updates but our favorites are the expansion features, especially the Archenemy mode, which lets you and two others (players or AI) face off against one enemy (player or AI).

Magic 2012 also looks and plays better with a streamlined interface and art that will make you want to frame your TV.  The fun challenge puzzles are now incorporated into the campaign. Magic 2012 also boasts ten new decks and improved deck management which now allows you to remove or add starting cards or unlocked cards. New players will be happy to know there is an awesome tutorial and tips and tricks that you can turn on and off during gameplay which makes jumping into the game easy.

Here’s the complete list from Wizard’s of the Coast site:

Key Features

• All-new and redesigned: Bigger and better in every way, Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 takes last year’s massive hit game and adds new graphics and music, new cards and decks, new challenges, and new multiplayer game modes!

• Gather your allies to face new Archenemies: In the new Archenemy format, you and two allies (players or AI) must work together to take down a powerful Archenemy and survive the extra powers from the Archenemy’s special scheme deck.

• New decks using some of the newest cards: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 features ten new decks using cards from the latest Magic: The Gathering expansions, including your first chance to play with cards from the Magic 2012 Core Set. Each deck also offers 16 additional cards that can be unlocked as well.

• Modify your deck for your own play style: We listened to what the community asked for, and in Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 players can now modify their decks to play the way they want. Players can add or remove cards from both starting cards and earned unlocked cards for each deck. Want more spells or creatures in your deck? The choice is yours!

• Fifteen puzzling challenge levels: Puzzles are back and better than ever with difficulties ranging from easy to (really) hard including new Archenemy challenges.

• Three- and Four-Player Enhanced Co-op Play: Co-op play is enhanced in Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012. For the first time, players can invite their friends anywhere in the world to partner up with them to take on the Archenemy or play against live opponents in Two-Headed Giant competition.

Expansion Key Features

• Take on 3 opponents with your scheme deck: Now you get to play as the Archenemy in single-player and online multiplayer formats.

• Three new playable decks: Take on your opponent’s with Liliana Vess’s “Grave Whispers” deck, Ajani Goldmane’s “Auramancer” deck, and Ral Zarek’s “Cloudburst” deck.

• Cards from the latest expansion: The expansion includes six exclusive sneak-preview cards from the upcoming Innistrad expansion.

• New Campaign levels: The expansion adds on six new single-player campaign levels and eleven Archenemy single-player campaign levels.

• New cards for your favorite decks: The expansion provides four additional card unlocks for all ten original Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 decks.

• Plus even more: Such as four new challenges now where you are the Archenemy, new achievements on XBox, Steam®, and PlayStation®, and new loading screens featuring art and text exclusive to expansion.

The story of Miz Calamity & CHICKAMUNGUS….
Sep 27, 6:00 am

We met on xbox live through Halo 2.  While playing together we developed a great friendship and a trust that you can only get while 4shotting bad kids in the dome.  Throughout the years and being super busy ferocious gaming women we’ve always agreed that we’d make a great team-whether that would be through competitive gaming or through web collaboration.  Today the magical stars have aligned and we’ve spawned our very own website called weheartg33k.com where we will entertain you with all the nerdy things that we love.  We’ll be blogging, vlogging, reviewing, and sharing some of our geeky adventures for all you to see, comment, and troll about!

The super-awesome-amazing part is that all of you will be seeing even more content from us as cadettes as well. We truly love this program and al l the wonderful women, people, and things it has brought into not only our lives, but other girls in the program as well.

Thank you again to the FragDolls for bringing us back together! <3
