Two months ago we started accepting applications for the Spring 2010 Cadettes Program. While we would have liked to pick everyone, unfortunately only 12 girls can be chosen each semester. That said, I’m very excited to introduce you all to this year’s Spring 2010 Cadettes Class (In alphabetical order):

If you’re interested in being in the Cadette program for the Spring 2010 class and you have not yet applied, this is a friendly reminder to please submit your resume, gaming history and video to us before the deadline- February 19th 2010. It’s a new year and with a new year comes change! We are looking to do some remodeling on our site, but first we need our community’s help. It would greatly benefit all of us if everyone could take a few minutes to answer our Frag Dolls Web-Survey we created. The questions are simple multiple choice and range anywhere from Frag Dolls, site content, to general gaming questions. By taking this survey you will be helping us provide better content to our site and giving us an overall understanding of what the community is interested in.
Note: At the end of the survey you will be given an option to write out any recommendations. This is your time to speak up! Let your voice be heard!

Just when I thought my iPhone application obsession was dying down JB introduces me to a new app called iTimeLapse. This app allows you to make time lapses using your iPhone’s camera. The setup is easy and the end results are so much fun to watch. I wanted to share it with you guys because I know a lot of people in our community are in to photography and film, so I think you will enjoy this.
The time lapse I’m showing below is of our Christmas Vacation road trip. JB and I drove a total of 3000 miles - California to Kansas, Kansas to California. We ended up time lapsing our entire trip back, but with the trip being so long and me firmly believing YouTube videos shouldn’t be over three minutes, I’ve decided to only show you guys the last day of our trip which was about 400 miles to our final destination.
This was our first time lapse, but now that we know what we are doing as far as how many frames per second should be captured to make the video run smoothly, I am excited to create more. I’ll be heading to Vegas today for CES; I’m thinking a time lapse of the amount of people that visit our booth would be badass!

The annual Child’s Play Charity Auction and Dinner is tomorrow! For those of you that are not familiar with the Child’s Play Charity Auction and Dinner, it is an annual fundraising auction that helps raise money for sick children across the world. Hosted by Penny Arcade’s - Tycho and Gabe, this fundraiser is a chance for gamers to unite, dress to impress, eat a fabulous dinner, and bid on amazing auctions, all while helping children worldwide.
Although this will be my third Child’s Play dinner, this year holds a special meaning to us; the Frag Dolls and Ubisoft have come together and created the ultimate auction. During the silent auction, attendees will be able to bid on the ‘Frag Doll Beat Down/Prize Pack’. The Frag Dolls Beat Down is for any gamer out there that has a cocky gamer friend that thinks he or she is invincible in FPS games, or if you don’t have a friend we will be more than happy to fly to you and challenge you in any FPS Xbox360 game of your choice. We will even film the entire event; that way the beat down will be documented forever for your amusement. The winning bidder will also receive an Ubisoft Prize pack:
